Visit us at Krez Group | Helping Build Chicago for Over 100 Years! Job Summary Perform general accounting for several companies and generate intercompany entries as necessary. Processing and ensuring in-house payroll are processed accurately, paid timely and in compliance. Record daily/ monthly closing procedures, journal entries, & reconciliations. Monthly bank reconciliations, accrued expenses, prepaid expenses, depreciation schedules and fixed assets. Monthly end closing, preparation of financial statements and analyzing monthly financial results. Maintain the chart of accounts. Participate in creating the yearly budget. Draw up financial statements (Trial Balance, Income Statement & Balance Sheet). Understanding of the Construction Work in Progress (WIP). Monthly inventory counting, inputting and reconciliation. Monthly payroll & sales & tax filing. Other duties as assigned by the Controller . About YOU! 5 years of related accounting work experience. Deep understanding of GAAP and its application. Previous experience using Spectrum Software helpful. Strong Excel (Macros & Pivot Tables), Word, & Microsoft Outlook. Strong attention to detail. Highly organized with excellent communication skills. Strong work ethic, high integrity. Team player who is willing to take on new responsibilities. Equal Opportunity Employer Salary Range: Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including internal equity, market data, the candidate's qualifications- including but not limited to specialty skills, prior relevant industry experience, relevant degrees or certifications (e.g., CPA, MBA). The salary range estimate below is inclusive of all departments within the firm, and offered salaries may vary within the given range between departments. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this level is $80,000 to $90,000 annualized, not including discretionary annual bonus and other competitive benefits.
