  Position Summary:
  The Mechanic will perform inspections and preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment such as semi-tractors and trailers, including brakes, suspensions, electrical, lighting and mechanical supporting multiple locations.

  • Repair hydraulics, electrical and other mechanical components
    
  • Troubleshoot and mechanical diagnosis to identify repair needs
    
  • Prepare and complete required paperwork
    
  • Travel between locations is required
    
    Qualifications:
    
    • 
      
    • One plus year of related diesel mechanic or related military training
      
    • Knowledge of welding and torching helpful, but not necessary
      
    • Mathematical and mechanical aptitude
      
    • Related experience and knowledge of the methods, materials tools and techniques used in repairing semi tractors & trailers
      
    • Strong communication skills, effective communicator
      
    • Proven ability to work alone or in a team setting
      
    • Attention to accuracy and detail
      
    • Demonstrated safety consciousness
      
    • Relevant Military experience
