Shop Foreman oversees daily operations, ensuring fabrication and
assembly tasks are completed safely, accurately, and on time. This
role includes supervising shop workers, coordinating workloads,
maintaining equipment, and enforcing safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise shop team members Assign
and monitor daily tasks and workflow Ensure all work meets quality
and safety standards Assist with training and development of shop
staff Communicate with management on job progress and material
needs Perform hands-on fabrication or welding as needed Maintain a
clean, organized, and efficient shop environment Requirements
Previous leadership experience in a fabrication or welding shop
Strong understanding of metalworking tools, equipment, and safety
procedures Ability to read and interpret blueprints or shop
drawings Good communication and problem-solving skills
