Division Overview Hubbell Commercial & Industrial (HCI) provides solutions for a broad range of non-residential and residential construction, commercial and industrial applications along with high-voltage test and measurement solutions. Posting Address 5231 Dylan Drive South Bend, IN 46628 *CS Position Overview Direct and coordinate all efforts within RTB Distribution Center to ensure on-time delivery to our Customers, maintain inventory accuracy, drive productivity to optimize operating expenses and ensure employee safety. Coordinate logistics and inventory for HCI Commercial Constuction products within our distribution network including Hubbell distribution centers and manufacturing locations as well as agent warehouses. Duties and Responsibilities * Maintain safe working environment consistent with OSHA and Hubbell Corporate requirements * Assure compliance with all local and state environmental regulations. * Drive accountability for critical KPI's of safety, on-time delivery, shipping lead time, inventory accuracy, operating cost and productivity; including distribution network KPI's with agent warehouses and transportation. * Develop and maintain systems, procedures and reports based on SAP to ensure information is available to make effective and efficient decisions for receiving and put away, picking material, packaging and truck loading. * Oversee the transfer and replenishment of finished goods and outsourced material within the distribution network and implement corrective actions as needed while implementing improvement projects to reduce lead times and transportation cost while ensuring on-time delivery. * Organize, standardize and monitor distribution throughout our company and agent warehouses, with specific performance metrics. Define and implement improvement actions when deviations are observed. * Facilitate and drive annual physical inventory by warehouse. * Drive lead time reduction and productivity improvement projects aiming cost savings using process improvement techniques (6Sigma and Lean: Kaizen, SMED, etc.), working together with support functions. * Monitor excess and obsolete inventory per established corporate guidelines and procedures and communicate with appropriate departments to ensure compliance. * Perform administrative duties concerning company policies, rules, union agreements and safety rules. Maintain positive employee relationship working with the union by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
