Job Description:

SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a Test & Demonstration Manager. This leader will be responsible for managing the Applications Engineers within the Test Engineering organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering, Business Development and Operations leadership to determine current and future program staffing levels and required skillsets, and ensure that all team members are fully tasked
• Guide the technical and strategic direction of the group, including processes, tools, and new technologies
• Provide mentoring to Applications Engineers to ensure test and demonstration planning, execution and closeout are performed in a professional and technically sound manner that follow SRC processes, engineering best practices and business development methods
• Assist in providing formal supervision for the Applications Engineers, including professional development, setting goals, providing regular feedback and coaching, writing performance reviews, and determining performance ratings
• Provide functional and/or technical leadership support to program and business development efforts that many include proposal development, BOEs, RFIs, IRADS, and investment opportunities
• Assign timesheets and monitor compliance activities in accordance with SRC policies
• Oversee recruiting and hiring for the group as assigned
• Support the management of group overhead costs, including maintaining a labor overhead rate within a specified target range
• Maintain awareness of business development activities to properly engage Applications Engineers, modify process and practices accordingly, and plan product/customer strategies Position Requirements
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering, scientific discipline, or a related field; 10+ years of experience.
  • Proven experience in program and/or functional leadership, technical leadership, and test and demonstration leadership
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Ability to be flexible in management of dynamic workspace
  • Experience Required 10+ Years
  • Education Required Bachelors Degree
