typical day:
- Manage and lead a team of inside sales representatives to
successfully assist in growing revenue by generating qualified
leads, contacting dormant accounts and managing a customer book of
business
- Lead the team to deliver revenue goals by determining daily,
weekly and monthly targets in support of operating objectives
- Build strong relationships with key sales leaders within the
Bounce Logistics and XPO family
- Develop and maintain Full Truckload (FTL) business throughout
North America
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high sense of
urgency
- Prospect for leads to build a pipeline, including heavy cold
calling
- Nurture accounts to retain existing relationships and to grow
share of business
- Use traditional and electronic communication tools to contact
former, current and prospective customers
- Create quotes and sales proposals for company services;
collaborate with the team on pricing decisions, supplier selection
and timing
- Translate business opportunities into incremental revenue
through strong selling; succeed at heavy price and service
negotiations with customers and carriers
- Accurately maintain and update information in the company's
operating systemsWhat you need to succeed at RXO:At a minimum,
you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military
experience
- 5 years of sales experience
- Experience as a sales supervisor or leadership roleIt'd be
great if you also have:
- 3 years of inside sales leadership or managerial
experience
- Experience building sales teams, growing sales and leadership
skills within the team, consistently delivering on revenue
goals/quotas, developing and executing inside sales strategy
- Experience in customer-facing jobs such as sales, sales
support, customer service, etc.
- Experience reaching or exceeding sales goals and
objectives
- Knowledge of general business practices related to sales and
