This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven experience managing the day-to-day operations of a community, and who exhibits a strong ability to effectively problem solve, handle sensitive situations with confidence, and implement strategies and initiatives that best support the company's goals.Executive Director Job DescriptionJob Title: Executive DirectorReports to: Director of OperationsFLSA Status: ExemptPosition SummaryThe Executive Director will be leading and overseeing all the strategic and operational aspects of the community. Will be responsible for building and promoting a positive and rewarding environment for the residents and team members as well as meet and exceed overall business goals. Ensure the day-to-day operations of the community are handled safely, and in compliance with the different laws and company's policies and procedures. Communicate, cultivate and reinforce the Vision and Values of Provision Living.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Lead the administration, human capital, sales, marketing, and financial management of the communityContribute and develop lead generation and lead management strategies to increase and maintain the occupancy rateImprove systems that directly affect occupancy, i.e. inquiry procedures and skills, tour effectiveness, closing techniques, follow-up systems, and resident satisfactionCreate an environment where residents are thriving by planning, carrying out and evaluating services based on the needs, interests, and choices of the residentsPlan, manage and monitor the community's budget to ensure meeting revenue and occupancy goalsEnsure that emergency procedures are in place and workableEnsure that maintenance needs and requests are processedMonitor and ensure standards are followed for food serviceMaintain an updated knowledge of all Provision Living goals, policies, practices and proceduresOther duties may be assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesDirectly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance to the Company policies, the Code of Ethical Business Conduct and applicable laws.Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Requirements:EducationBachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or universitySkills/ExperienceAdministrator license requiredExperience with leading a senior living community (assisted living and memory care) is strongly preferred; understanding of dementia and AlzheimerProven leadership and communication skillsExperience in implementing overall company strategies and initiativesUnderstanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, human resources, and marketing basicsEffective problem solving and conflict management skillsAbility to handle sensitive or difficult issues with grace and confidenceFlexibility to adopt and adapt with frequent operational changesTravelEmployee must be able to travel 10% of the time.Physical DemandsTo perform this job successfully, the physical demands listed are representative of those that must be met by an employee.
