Summary As the Master Scheduling Manager for our Utilimaster
division based in Bristol, Indiana, you will be accountable for
developing, supporting, and managing all scheduling functions with
a focus on Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) across
multiple sites. This will include planning and establishing
production schedules for manufacturing departments involving
diversified piece parts, assemblies, or tooling to conform with
master production schedules. You will also be responsible for
creating and driving new processes and implementing a scheduling
methodology in accordance with established procedures for
Utilimaster's product lines. And under the direction of our
Director of Materials & Fabrication, your work will be critical for
executing your function's vision and goals and managing the people

- Managing the Master Schedule by creating the schedule slots for
multiple sites within weekly and monthly buckets to provide
visibility for the supply chain
- Cascading schedule slots to the specific scheduler(s) who are
responsible for the operating sites
- Collaborating with sales and marketing to monitor and identify
upcoming trends for up to 18 months
- Forecasting firm and planned demand and revising these as
necessary based upon subsequent changes to market, supply, and
operational demands
- Approving all significant sales changes where configuration
changes are touching manufacturing plants
- Partnering with Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, and Supply
Chain to revise the Master Schedule dates
- Ensuring directional data can be broadcast to the supply chain
for raw material purchasing purposes
- Translating the monthly SIOP consensus plan by product family
to a detailed weekly master production (MPS) with a 12 to 18-month
planning horizon into the ERP for Daily MRP generation
- Incorporating inter-company demand and backlog into the SIOP
supply planning process to ensure capacity and resources are
available to meet demand requirements
- Managing timelines through taking on the "Gatekeeper" role for
Sales approvals for production sites
- Driving engineering deadlines and ensuring product execution
timelines are adhered to
- Communicating to the SIOP group any failure modes and receiving
corrective actions
- Creating and architecting databases, systems, and reports
- Producing and publishing factory schedule adherence, capacity,
and inventory reports
- Monitoring and driving the resolution of MRP processing
errors
- Performing data analysis and reporting of key performance
indicators such as delivery performance, backlog, performance to
master schedule, including inventory turns
- Serving as a factory subject matter expert (SME) for ERP
production planning and scheduling modulesQualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Sales Operations, Strategic
Sourcing, or related discipline
- 8+ years of expertise in Demand Planning, Supply Planning,
operations planning and scheduling, materials management, or other
Sales Inventory & Operations Planning related functional area
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel,
and PowerPoint
- A track record of multi-tasking, prioritizing and delegating
efficiently
- Experience with directing and leading others
- identifying business process issues and implementing effective
improvement and control plans
- A reputation for communicating effectively across multiple
levels within an organization
- Familiarity with processing systems and inventory software
- Willing to travel to company sites up to 25%What Makes You
