POSITION:The RN Supervisor is responsible for planning and
overseeing departmental nursing staff and medical assistant
activities to ensure customer satisfaction. This position also
provides medical and professional expertise to the team and
clients.This is a full time benefit eligible position supporting
our Westside Health Center with a primary focus on supporting our
Women's Health programs.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:Demonstrates leadership and management skills that
foster a culture of mentoring, coaching, motivating, and engaging
staff.Models and communicates key values in the community and to
staff in a way that supports Cherry Healths mission.Educates and
empowers staff to be adept at meeting current and future
organizational needs, and adjusts staff hours, priorities, and
assignments to ensure efficient operation, based on
workload.Directs, supervises, trains, evaluates competencies, and
addresses performance issues consistently, promptly, and
appropriately.Plans and facilitates meetings to communicate
organizational initiatives and updates to staff.Assists in the
development and monitoring of department/program budgets.Works
collaboratively with clients and teams to determine status,
strengths, and needs.Participates in team meetings.Acts as a
resource for medical questions and concerns from clients, families,
guardians, and staff.Manages and approves all time off requests for
staff, including timecard approval.Manages and arranges coverage
during staff absences.Completes yearly Performance
Evaluations.Supervises RN and MA performance, provides structured
supervision, and completes performance improvement plans/corrective
action plans as necessary.Participates in the development of
program protocols as needed.Understands and adheres to Cherry
Healths compliance standards as outlined in Cherry Healths
Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct, and Conflict of
Interest Policy.Keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state, and
Cherry Healths regulations, laws, and policies as they presently
exist and as they change or are modified.Ensures staff are trained
and evaluated on their knowledge of and adherence to compliance
policies and procedures specific to their jobs.Performs other
duties as assigned.SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:Basic Life
Support/CPR training according to requirements of license and/or
certification.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with
others, both orally and in written form.Ability to approach others
tactfully, react well under pressure, and treat others with
dignity, respect, and consideration regardless of their status or
position.Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize
work.Demonstrated typing and computer skills.Ability to work well
with others, follow agency policies and procedures, and

/ LICENSES / CERTIFICATES:Current registered nurse license with the
State of Michigan required. Preferred BSN.EXPERIENCE:Three or more
years of supervisory or managerial experience, preferably in
ambulatory care, which includes working with multiple
providers.Prefer experience in family practice, women's health, and
working with high-need populations, government funding, and
multiple sites, or an equivalent combination of education and
experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties
of the job listed above.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Possible exposure to
patients/clients with illnesses and/or infections.Frequent
telephone and computer use, requiring manual dexterity for writing
and computer use.Sitting, standing, or walking for extended periods
of time.Specific vision abilities required by this job may include
close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.May
require bending, squatting, or kneeling and lifting up to 50
pounds.Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as
required.CLIENT POPULATION SERVED:May serve all patient
populations.The essential functions of this position must be able
