TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in South Bend, Indiana, 46601! Pay Information $3,046 per week About The Position Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience required License: Must have an active nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; NIHSS preferred Must-Have: Travel experience required; 1 year of previous travel experience in a cath lab preferred First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of experience in cath lab Ability to operate independently with a 3-person call team Available to work on-call; 1 night per week and every 4th weekend Description: Position: Cath Lab RN. Shifts are scheduled for 4 days a week, 10 hours each day. Call requirement includes 1 night per week and every 4th weekend rotation. Floating will be assigned to Interventional Radiology if necessary or if the Cath Lab case load is low. Holiday coverage as needed by the department. Late team rotation once a week to complete any remaining cases left for the day. Experience in various cath lab procedures including angioplasty, cardiac ablation, and use of specific medical equipment is required. Cardiac diagnostics, PCI, and device implant experience such as A-fib ablations and TAVR are beneficial. Additional support services available within the unit include IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and Radiology. Patient age groups served include adults and geriatrics. Daily census and volume may vary. Certification in Cerner charting system is required. The unit consists of 4 rooms with the capacity for 4 personnel per room if available. A 3-person team will handle call duties.
