Obstetrics & Gynecology Job Details Position Type: Locum tenens OB Hospitalist physician job (contract/travel) Location: South Bend, IN 46601 – Indiana healthcare jobs in a vibrant city with excellent amenities Healthcare Setting: Level III NICU, Level III Perinatal Center, Level II Trauma Center Shifts: 24-hour shifts; 12-hour rotating shifts available Hours per Week: Approximately 36 Contract Duration: 13-week contract starting November 17, 2025 Estimated Weekly Pay: $5,670 – $6,070 OB Hospitalist Physician Qualifications Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Active Indiana medical license or eligibility for IMLC compact licensure Minimum 1 year post-residency clinical experience in OB/GYN Recent OB Hospitalist or OB/GYN experience within the last 12 months Completion of Prescreen Questionnaire (required) CV in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained OB Hospitalist Responsibilities Provide OB triage, admissions, inpatient care, and deliveries for hospitalized patients Collaborate with neonatologists, maternal fetal medicine physicians, and certified nurse midwives Coordinate care for antepartum and intrapartum high-risk patients Work with specialized Maternal OB transport team Participate in teaching and clinical activities within the OB Hospitalist program Contribute to improved clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction Average 3 deliveries per 24-hour shift; approximately 2,000 annual deliveries Apply now to join our healthcare team in South Bend, Indiana and advance your OB Hospitalist career!
