Telemetry RN Job Details – South Bend, IN - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1890 - $1940 - Assignment Length: 13 weeks - Start Date: November 10, 2025 - End Date: February 9, 2026 - Healthcare Setting: Hospital – Telemetry Unit (Boarding RNs- 6028) - Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts (19:00 – 06:58) - Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed - Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend - Holiday Requirement: Rotational - Floating: Required within hospital and to affiliate hospitals as needed - Scrub Color: Royal Blue - Charting System: Cerner Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or compact state (pending accepted if active by start date) - Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry or Critical Care RN experience required - Previous travel nursing experience required - Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) required - Preferred: CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) and NIHSS (Stroke Scale) certifications - Experience with Cerner electronic health records preferred - Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (no local candidates) - COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered) - Ability to float to other hospital units or affiliate hospitals as needed - Completion of up to 8 hours of pre-start modules required Telemetry RN Responsibilities - Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry and med/surg patients, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics - Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage cardiac drips (no titration), and respond to rapid response/code situations - Administer medications, blood products, and manage IVs, central lines, and arterial lines - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams such as Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Social Services - Float to various units or affiliate hospitals based on census and staffing needs - Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EHR - Participate in rotational holiday and weekend coverage - Adhere to all hospital policies and professional nursing standards Experience the rewards of travel nursing in Indiana and join a supportive healthcare team in South Bend.
