Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist
with at least 2 years of experience in hemodynamic monitoring,
dysrhythmia interpretation, and advanced cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities - Work in a hospital Cath Lab with both inpatient
and outpatient cases - Duties include hemodynamic monitoring,
pacemakers, vitals, STEMI response, IV insertion, phlebotomy,
Rotablator use, EP ablations, pacemaker implants, and coil
embolization - Shifts are 5x8 hours, typically 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM,
with one late team rotation per week - On-call requirement includes
one night per week and every fourth weekend - Floating may be
assigned to Interventional Radiology or to affiliate hospitals
depending on patient volume - Cerner charting experience is
required - Light blue scrubs are provided - Responsibilities
include monitoring, procedural support, and assisting with complex
cardiac procedures - Completion of up to 8 hours of pre-start
modules is preferred - Return staff must have a minimum 3-year
break before returning as a traveler - No local candidates
accepted; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the
facility - Maximum of 10 days RTO allowed; must be willing to work
at least 1 of 3 holidays if RTO overlaps holidays - Light blue
scrubs are provided for staff - First-time travelers will be
considered for this assignment - All professional behavior and
attendance policies are strictly enforced; conduct issues may
result in immediate contract termination Requirements - Minimum of
2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist - Current
or pending state license is required and must be active by start
date; license required if applicable - Cerner charting experience
required - Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and perform advanced
procedures such as STEMI intervention, EP ablation, and Rotablator
use - Willingness to float within the hospital or to nearby
affiliates depending on census - Must be able to work call and late
