Job Description Job Description Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1 year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is designed for an experienced Cath Lab Technician with expertise in cardiac imaging and electrophysiology. The role requires a skilled professional to support a dynamic team during a 13-week contract assignment. Candidates will contribute to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Schedule and Hours: Four 10-hour day shifts per week Rotating day off Rotating on-call responsibilities including some weekdays and every third weekend Callbacks with a 30-minute response time and a minimum of two hours on-call pay Holiday coverage as needed Key Responsibilities: Perform imaging procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab Support electrophysiology studies and related diagnostics Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure effective patient care Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to safety protocols Accurately document procedures and patient information Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Cath Lab, including electrophysiology ARRT certification and valid Illinois state license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications Ability to respond promptly during on-call hours Strong references from Cath Lab supervisors within the past year Demonstrated technical proficiency and attention to detail Location Overview:Situated in the vibrant northern suburbs, Waukegan offers a blend of urban amenities and natural beauty, with access to Lake Michigan and nearby recreational areas.
