A busy hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens
coverage. About the Facility Location The facility is located in
Highland, Illinois. About the Clinician's Workday The position
offers a Monday-Friday schedule with available 8hour, 10hour, and
24hour shifts. There is no inhouse call, weeknight pager call, or
weekend pager call, and overtime is not expected. The facility uses
Epic for charting and operates three anesthesia rooms, with CRNAs
supervised by MDs at a 2:1 ratio; physicians do not run their own
cases. This is a mild, lowvolume site with very rare ASA 4
patients, no ICU, and a practice of transferring higheracuity
cases. Typical case types include general surgery, orthopedics, and
