Registered Nurse (RN) | Correctional Location: Chicago, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,220 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/3/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Correctional Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 hours (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) Experience: 2 years of recent acute care experience in Medical/Surgical nursing; correctional experience preferred License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: Correctional nursing experience preferred Description: Position is for a Registered Nurse in a correctional setting. The shift is scheduled from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, working five days a week. Candidates are expected to work every other weekend, totaling two weekends per month. Requests for time off are limited to 5 days maximum, with no more than 2 consecutive days. Time off is not permitted on holidays or the days before or after holidays. This is a mandatory float position where clinicians are required to float within their scope to meet facility needs. Candidates must have experience in medical/surgical nursing and are preferred if they have correctional experience. BLS certification is required. Candidates must work within a team-based model and may be floated to various units as needed. The facility has specific compliance requirements that must be met prior to starting the assignment. Candidates need to be responsive and provide timely updates regarding required documentation.
