Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Kalamazoo, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,798 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: 1 year of telemetry experience required First-time travelers accepted Description: This is a cardiovascular telemetry unit. The unit has a total of 54 beds. The majority of patients are on cardiac monitors. Patients are monitored in a telemetry room and closely observed on the unit. Patients may be on cardiac drips. The patient population includes heart failure, heart attacks, and strokes requiring cardiac monitoring. The unit also takes overflow medical patients as needed. Scrub color is Caribbean blue. Charting is done using Cerner PowerChart. The patient ratio during the day shift is typically 1:6 to 1:7. There is no call required for this position. Staffing includes PCA support. Weekend requirements are every other weekend. Holiday requirements include working 2 out of 3 holidays. Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed but will be accommodated when possible. Travelers must live more than 50 miles from the facility. Completion of all required certifications is expected before starting. Travelers need to complete up to 8 hours of modules within one week of signing. Expectation of professional conduct is critical due to the sensitive nature of the assignment.
