A full-time, onsite Occupational Therapist position is available from December through June in Joliet, IL, providing essential support within a school setting. This contract role involves covering two Occupational Therapist leaves and offers the opportunity to work closely with students from early childhood through 8th grade. Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive educational assessments, developing individualized educational programs tailored to each student's needs, and collaborating with school staff to enhance student achievement. The role also requires travel between school district buildings and attendance at professional meetings as necessary. Qualifications and experience required: Current and valid Occupational Therapist license issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations Previous experience working with EC-8 level students Interest and/or experience working with students with a diverse range of disabilities Demonstrated expertise in educational assessments and individual program development Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with educators and support staff Commitment to participating in ongoing professional development Dedication to maintaining high standards of professional excellence This position offers a dynamic work environment where your expertise will directly impact student success.
