Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Lafayette, Indiana. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/17/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n Registered Nurse - PCU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts /n• Mixed acuity unit with medical patients and PCU level of care patients /n• Serves as oncology and stroke unit /n• Patient ratios: MS patients 1:5-6, PCU patients 1:3-4 /n• Must have solid neurological experience /n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS /n• Must have Indiana state, compact, or Indiana temporary license in hand prior to start /n• Experience required with Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lasix, Insulin drips, Post Heart Cath, and Post Pacemaker procedures /n• Will manage cardizem, amiodarone, and insulin drips /n• Will care for unstable stroke patients and BiPap management /n• Areas of care include oncology, stroke, cardiac, gastrointestinal and pulmonary /n• Float required as needed within hospital or to affiliate hospitals /n• Weekend coverage required with 2 out of 3 major holidays mandatory /n• 36 hours of orientation provided /n• Self-scheduling system /n• Dress code: red top, black bottoms /n• Charting system: Cerner /n• Free parking provided /n• One pre-approved time off period allowed /n• Local Indiana residents not accepted for this position /n/n Facility: /n This short-term acute care hospital features 194 staffed beds and operates a dynamic mixed acuity progressive care unit. The facility specializes in comprehensive care including oncology, stroke, cardiac, gastrointestinal, and pulmonary services. The hospital maintains modern equipment and technology with strong interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
