Production -PlannerTri-Pac, Inc. a contract development and
manufacturing company (CDMO) specializing in liquid and aerosol
filling for personal care and pharmaceutical marketers, is seeking
an -Customer Service Production Planner -for immediate addition to
our fast-growing team. -Job Description:The Customer
Service/Production Planner is the friendly face of Tri-Pac
interfacing between our customers and the Production Department.
He/she builds a solid relationship with the customer ensuring open
communication and establishing a solid foundation of trust. - The
Customer Service/ Production Planner works closely with Tri-Pac's
Production Department to ensure products are scheduled for
production keeping in mind the customer's due date, product
verification & release, run rates and staffing. - Attention to
detail and multi-tasking are skills that are imperative to ensure
smooth production, as well as a friendly can-do attitude.
Responsibilities:
Receive all customer PO's and enter
within 24 hours of receipt.Receive all quotes for existing and new
customers.Match Purchase Orders to quotes.Enter Purchase Orders
into SAP.Enter Work Orders and Batching Orders into SAP.Place
orders on the Daily Schedule where capacity allows and based on the
customers due date.Check allocation for material availability.Plan
daily schedule based on run rates and staffing.Release orders in
SAP prior to production.Attend and manage daily production
meetings.Follow up with production and documentation for releasing
when the product is complete.Close all production orders when
complete.Create Shipping Documents (Packing List/BOL) and notify
customers for shipping.Reach out to carriers as requested.Random
price checks in SAP to ensure they match the quotes.On-Board all
new customers - send NDA, CMA and other documents that are
requested for startup.Build Bill of Materials (BOM) in SAP.Create
part numbers.Update any part number changes.Attend all customer
calls: daily/weekly as required.Lead new product meetings.Follow up
with customers on down payment invoices.Random check line BOM's for
accuracy.Pull customer samples and ship as required.Customer
Reports.Manage Customer owned inventory.Close orders in SAP as
completed.Log customer complaints and continue to follow up to
ensure they are closed properly.Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business
Management or equivalent work experience Experience with SAP, Excel
and Microsoft Office
2-3 years' experience in Production
Scheduling and Customer ServiceGreat written and verbal
