This position is critical in providing safe and reliable transportation services, aiming to enhance the mobility of our community. As a GO!Bus driver, you will be at the forefront of our service delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to all safety regulations. This role does not require a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and is perfect for individuals passionate about helping others and seeking a career in transportation. Safely operate a GO!Bus in various traffic and weather conditions. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing special attention when necessary. Follow predefined bus routes on a strict schedule. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety. Communicate effectively with passengers and respond to inquiries and concerns. Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle at all times. Report delays or accidents in a timely manner, following established protocols. Adhere to all company policies and city, state, and federal regulatory requirements. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to operate a bus safely and efficiently. Capacity to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively. Customer service orientation with the ability to manage stress. Basic mechanical knowledge to identify vehicle issues.
