(Headquarters) Reports to: Human Resources Manager FLSA Status:
Non-exempt Schedule: Monday through Friday (8:00a to 5:00p)

position is responsible for staffing and recruiting for all
Modineer facilities in Michigan (Niles and Benton Harbor areas).
This role requires maintaining positive relationships and working
with multiple third-party staffing agencies to staff for skilled
and non-skilled production workers to maintain staffing needs. To
be successful in this role, you will need to be able to multitask,
have efficient time management skills, and able to work in a
fast-paced working environment viewing, replying, and sending a
multitude of emails, taking phone calls, and maintaining staffing
needs. Primary duties and responsibilities: -- Responsible for the
recruiting, selection, coordination, and placement of all hourly
(non-exempt) indirect plant level personnel from contract
employment service companies. -- Schedule interviews between
management and the pending candidates. -- Manage attendance and
work with the agencies to find replacements as needed. -- Support
plant management in creating a positive employee-relations
environment. -- Advise supervisors with appropriate disciplinary
actions for attendance related issues. -- Represent temporary
employees' views and needs to management (complaints, shift
changes, concerns, etc.). -- Familiarize with the employee handbook
to answer questions for temporary employees. -- Understand Safety
protocol for injuries and/or accidents with all agencies,
facilitate corrective actions, and follow up with agencies and
Modineer EHS Manager. Coordinates/files responses to injury/illness
claims by non-employees. -- Special Projects assigned, per business
need. -- Performs all other duties as assigned. Education, prior
work experience and specialized skills and knowledge : -- Associate
Degree in Human Resource field is preferred. -- Minimum of 1 year
of experience in a Manufacturing Environment in the functional area
of Human Resources. -- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
(Word, Excel, Outlook), ADP, and other time and attendance
software. -- Must be able to effectively interact with employees
from all aspects of the business (sales, manufacturing, corporate
management, finance, etc.). -- Must be honest and trustworthy. --
Must maintain high level of accuracy when creating or reviewing
documentation. Must actively always protect confidentiality of
employee personnel and payroll records. -- Must have
attention-to-detail and follow-through skills. -- Reasoning -
ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw
valid conclusions. -- Communications Skills - ability to read,
analyze and interpret; ability to write business correspondence and
speak to procedure manuals; ability to effectively present
information and respond to questions from employees, managers,
customers, staffing vendors, etc. -- Initiative skills - capable
and willing to make decisions and take action with limited
direction. -- Innovation - creative thinker, able to find new
solutions to old problems. -- Strong Organizational skills - to
keep organized, and remember to follow up with emails, tasks, etc.
-- Strong Multitasking skills - ability to do handle multiple tasks
at a time and deliver results. -- Must be able to work overtime
when needed to maintain staffing needs and stay on track --
Individual & Team-Oriented skills- working well with other members
in various departments when needed, as well as individually.
Physical environment/working conditions: -- Works in an office
environment. The individual types at a computer on regular basis as
well as communicating via telephone with vendors, and Plant
