description and responsibilitiesThe Senior Software Developer will
be responsible for the development of critical applications,
working with a team of developers. This role involves designing,
developing, documenting, testing, and debugging new and existing
applications, with a focus on cloud-based solutions. The individual
will utilize groundbreaking technologies and enterprise-grade
integration software daily, helping elevate the team's
technological capabilities.
- Manage and participate in the full development lifecycle,
including requirements analysis and design using Agile
methodologies.
- Engage in hands-on development and support of software systems,
optimizing performance, resolving issues, and providing
follow-up.
- Serve as a technical guide on development projects.
- Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and
business requirements.
- Support, maintain, and document software functionality.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies for potential
implementation.
- Analyze code to identify errors and revise programs as
needed.
- Participate in design meetings and analyze user needs to
resolve technical requirements.
- Lead and collaborate with technical teams, including employees
and vendor contractors, serving as a technology leader.
- Work with end users to prototype, refine, test, and debug
programs to meet needs.
- Lead the design, development, and planning for solutions and
technology standards to resolve complex business problems.
- Recommend system improvements in collaboration with business,
support, and development teams.
- Consult across multiple projects and technology areas for
problem management and solution implementation.
- Review and assess technology and project development
efforts.
- Provide technical leadership in project lifecycle
planning.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise standards and principles
throughout the application lifecycle.QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related
field.
- At least 5 years of experience in software design, development,
documentation, testing, and debugging.
- Experience with AWS technologies such as Lambda, Step
Functions, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Cognito, Route 53, DynamoDB,
ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, API Gateway.
- Proficiency with Cloud Automation tools like Git, Python, Bash,
PowerShell scripting.
- Hands-on backend API development experience using Node.js,
Java, and Python (preferred).
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without
sponsorship.
- Successful interview completion required.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.Preferred
- Experience in the airline industry.
- Highly preferred AWS expertise.The salary range for this role
is $109,820 to $149,600, dependent on experience, education, and
skills. The position may also include bonuses or incentive
