Job Description Job Description Job Title: CNC Machinist Location: Wyoming, MI Pay: $25-35/hr Depending on Experience Schedule: 1st Shift (7am-3:30pm) Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision parts Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and GD&T specifications Load raw materials, install tooling, and set tool offsets Edit CNC programs at the machine using G-code as needed Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections Use precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and indicators Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues related to tooling, dimensions, or surface finish Complete production and quality documentation accurately Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping Follow all company safety, quality, and lean manufacturing standards Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred Previous CNC machining experience required Experience with CNC milling and/or turning machines Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards Preferred Qualifications Experience machining steel or heavy industrial components Multi-axis machining experience Familiarity with ISO or similar quality systems Strong teamwork and communication skills Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with company match Overtime opportunities Stable, long-term employment with an industry leader TSTRATHP By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive text messages from Talent Strategy regarding your job application, interviews, and employment updates.
