We are open Monday-Friday. Some overtime is mandatory, and w ork hours may be adjusted for necessary business reasons, e.g. training, order demand. 3rd Shift 9:00 pm-5:30 am Utility Workers are responsible for a variety of tasks including general labor across the plant, supporting the production process, and ensuring the smooth operation of the facility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists in various stages of production process, including mixing, blending, pouring, and packaging chemicals and chemical products. Records required information on the batch sheet. Reviews drumming sheets. Locates drums, kegs, totes, and pails as needed for orders. Transports items to filling area via forklift. Performs quality control checks on raw materials, intermediate products and finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards. Monitors inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, reporting discrepancies, and assisting in inventory counts as needed. Maintains accurate records and documentation related to production activities and quality control checks. Performs activities to safely clean, secure and maintain equipment and work areas as required. Participate in housekeeping in the facility according to 5S. Follows, without exception, all work instructions, SOP’s, and safety rules, including use of all proper PPE and other safety equipment. ????? EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: High school diploma or GED required. Candidates with 3 years of relevant experience may also be considered. Previous experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to read, write and speak English. Basic math skills required. Good problem-solving ability; makes efficient use of time within shift directives. Ability to be trained and safely operate a forklift to transport raw materials and finished goods between departments and warehouses. Minimum 1 year experience. Works well within a team and able to follow specific directions. Punctuality and excellent attendance are expected and required. Ability to meet physical demands of a fast-paced work environment.
