Job Title: Parts Cleaning Technician Location: Dyer, IN Pay Rate: $17.40 an hour Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Our client, a subsidiary of a major international heavy equipment manufacturer, is seeking Parts Cleaning Tech to join their operations team. Responsibilities Utilize Plex system to determine product and procedure accuracy Use of pneumatic tools, including grinders, air ratchet, impact gun and rivet gun Slag removal via air gun and mallet Steam clean pieces to ensure part is from?dirt and chips Dip parts into rust remover Oil parts prior to packaging Final inspection of parts Band work pieces and prepare for shipping Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to perform repetitive operations Ability to life up to 35 lbs Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: Blueprint reading experience Caliper and other measuring tool reading Attention to detail Ability to work as part of a team and undergo cross-training Effective communication skills Why People Stay “I started here thinking it would be temporary.
