Job Title: Quality Control Technician – 3rd Shift Location: Melrose Park, IL Pay Rate: $22 per hour Shift: 10:00pm – 6:00am Training: First week will be on 1st shift Job Overview Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician – 3rd Shift to join their team. This position plays a key role in ensuring food safety, product quality, and compliance throughout the production process. This is a Food Manufacturing environment , which requires strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), sanitation protocols, and the use of PPE at all times . What’s the Job? Perform laboratory testing and quality checks supporting production across the plant. Conduct environmental monitoring, including swabbing and routine/non?routine lab testing. Verify sanitation activities and support compliance with foreign material control programs. Review and disposition raw materials; enter QC data accurately and maintain manual logs. Follow all food safety and workplace safety policies, ensuring a clean, hazard?free environment. Wear required PPE consistently (hairnets, gloves, lab coats, etc.) in all designated areas. What’s Needed? High school diploma or GED. Minimum 2 years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing strongly preferred). Ability to work effectively in a fast?paced, team-oriented setting. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to perform basic math, read/write clearly, and accurately document data. Willingness to work 3rd shift, with required 1st?shift training during the first week. What’s in It for Me?
