Job Description

Summary

Patrols hospital buildings and grounds to detect or deter criminal activity and unsafe conditions. Primarily responds to emergency situations, calls for service, and other requests for assistance. Provides supports for safe and efficient parking and transpiration services.

Qualifications

* High School Diploma or Equivalent Required * Associate's Degree in Public Administration or Criminal Justice Preferred * 2 years of relevant experience in a related field Required * Law Enforcement Academy or Military (active duty) experience Preferred * Experience in an environment of comparable size and complexity Preferred * At least 21 years of age Required * Michigan Driver's License Required * AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 180 days of hire * IAHSS Basic Certification Required within 30 days of hire
