IT Associate Director, Global Manufacturing Digital Leader

In collaboration with global manufacturing operations leadership; develop, direct, manage and deliver strategic global digital manufacturing operations management system transformation initiatives.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop strategies in partnership with finance and business partners to deliver cost optimization for global manufacturing digital solutions
  • Work with key business partners to develop roadmaps, drive business readiness activities to support transformation initiatives, and develop and manage global SLAs for each manufacturing operation system
  • Provide global strategic direction for ISA Level 3 & lower manufacturing systems. This is inclusive of but may not be limited to these systems: Opcenter (Camstar), Wonderware, Delmia, Infinity QS, QDAS, SAP business objects, Tableau, and QlikView.
  • Lead architecture and implementation of globally aligned manufacturing execution systems to drive on-time, on-budget, and standardized processes and outcomes.
  • Partner with infrastructure, computer systems validation, business MES COE, and external partners to ensure aligned and coordinated execution.
  • Lead direct (internal) and indirect (matrixed or external) team members, developing or engaging people with required competencies to deliver on commitments.
  • Create safe, collaborative and engaging work environment that enables diverse team members to innovative and ensure quality work outcomes.
Expected Areas of Competence
  • Able to influence, collaborate and partner with internal and external stakeholders – demonstrating strategic, technical, and insightful thought leadership balanced with thoughtful consideration of desired business outcomes and constraints
  • Strong ability to execute high-profile complex projects; organize, manage and deliver on time and on budget
  • Extensive knowledge of current technology capabilities and able to understand applications, utilities, network operations and plant engineering infrastructure.
  • Skilled leader and people and process manager within global matrix organization across multiple teams and cultures.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex organizational initiatives involving multiple functions, multiple business teams, and direct reports. Includes the identification and articulation of problems, influencing decision-making process as well as delivery of expected results.
  • Proven ability to execute high-profile projects and to provide thought leadership to the organization.


Education/Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology and Master’s degree in business, IT or related field with at least 7+ years relative professional experience; OR Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field and at least 6+ years of combined IT and/or Manufacturing experience
  • At least 6 years of experience working with manufacturing digital technologies
  • At least 3 years of experience utilizing formal ITSM and SDLC processes and tools in an IT role
  • At least 2 years of experience utilizing formal PMLC processes to deliver projects
  • Experience with MES (Opcenter), SCADA systems, system integrations, and/or data analytics is a plus
  • Experience in a regulated environment and with computer systems validations. Prefer experience in FDA regulated environment
Travel Requirements

Up to 25%, including International travel
