Niles Community Schools PowerSchool and Central Registry CoordinatorFull time position for the school yearReports to: Assistant Superintendent (or designee)Niles Community Schools is looking for a dynamic PowerSchool and Central Registry Coordinator. Highly-effective communication skills and professionalism required for daily interaction with a diverse workforce, student population, building administration and community. Required Qualifications: Minimum High School Education, with emphasis on clerical & computer skills Ability to operate and maintain common office equipment Successful completion of appropriate level secretarial examination Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, File Maker Pro, Microsoft Access, Pages, Numbers, and Google Working knowledge of data collection and analysis in database(s)School Information System (PowerSchool) Administration: Provide assistance in all areas of student information, attendance reporting, grade reporting, enrolling and withdrawing students Monitor data in the SIS for accuracy and completeness as it pertains to enrollment, attendance and other pupil accounting related informationDistrict wide Secretarial Support: Cover building support as needed for extenuating circumstances as directed by the Director of Non-certified Personnel. Train all secretaries in MCIR and attend the Berrien RESA trainings on their behalfAssist with State and Federal Reporting: Provide pupil accounting support for the district including the submission of all reports and coordination of data collection: General Collections, Special Education Collections, Section 21F for virtual students, Early Childhood roster, Civil Rights Data Collections (CRDC) reporting, Teacher Student Data Link (TSDL) Assist with internal auditing of general collections as neededCentral Registry Coordinating: Support interested families with inquiries and processing of enrollment information.
