Job Description:

Position Summary:

This role is r esponsible for cleaning store floors by following store/company floor care maintenance schedule, communicating with store management team to coordinate special procedures to ensure the that the work shift contributes positively to the best interests of the store. Complete all other duties as assigned in a timely manner.

Here's what you'll do:

• Clean, sweep, scrub, strip, wax, buff or vacuum floors in accordance with established store procedures, schedules or guidelines.
• Notify Store Management if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Maintain a clean and attractive store.
• Clean all baseboards, restrooms, conference rooms per established guidelines.
• Responsible for light equipment maintenance as needed; keep batteries charged in floor machines.
• Keep floor mats clean and in good condition.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Here's what you'll need:

    May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures) and is exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
