Responsibilities

• Manage
  the development of detail -designs -for new -and existing -products
  lines -
• Hold -weekly -meetings
  with various -discipline -engineering -team members/ detail designer/
  fabricator to address project development status and solve challenging
  technical requirements and problems.
• Coordinate
  equipment procurement activities
• Manage technical interface with customers.
• Coordinate document submittals to/from customers. -
• Evaluating existing designs/processes for improvements in cost, quality, and producibility
• Key client interface for project technical issues including project design review meetings. -
• Develop
  test plans review test data to validate product capabilityYou
  Must Have
  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field, preferably Mechanical, Material or Aerospace.
  • 3+ year(s) experience with previous product design or product quality experience.
  • Must Be US Citizen due to Contractual Requirements -We Value
    • 5+ years of engineering experience with direct customer interaction or support.
    • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
    • Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.
    • Ability to create and communicate solutions to complex technical challenges.
    • Business acumen and knowledge of current and emerging practices, methods, and information relevant to the aerospace industry.
    • Power of influence on others to accept and develop ownership of new concepts, practices, and approaches.
    • Ability to redefine an optimal balance of engineering speed, agility, and quality of work.
