Job Description:
$15.80 Starting Rate + Experience Credit + Shift Pay
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Recommended high school diploma or equivalent.Medical terminology
required within one year,
EXPERIENCE RECOMMENDED:
Prior direct customer service experience required.
Previous Hospital Registration experience helpful.
Minimum of one year experience in a customer service or
clerical/accounting position; preferably in a healthcare
related environment, or an insurance company.
LICENSURE REQUIRED:
None
OTHER:
Must be able to type 35 - 40 wpm in order to use CRT/terminal and
to timely enter patient data.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills in order to
interact with customers effectively;
ability to interpret a variety of documents and correspondence
relating to patient accounts. Must be
able to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and/or
overtime if needed.
