Job Summary

This position is responsible for reclaiming rejected products and raw materials as well as destroying scrapped materials and products.



Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Receive returned merchandise and place them in an inventory location for issuance to rework production routers.
Maintain an accurate inventory of all merchandise on hand.
Assemble production router packets and complete all information.
Make contact with various departments throughout of the company.
Perform various paperwork duties such as sale to vendors, scrap log sheets, lot traceability cards, inventory counts, and other miscellaneous duties.
Gather or receive dysfunctional, obsolete and scrapped materials, and products from all areas of the company and determine when merchandise should be scrapped or reworked.



Expected Areas of Competence
--- Must have excellent product knowledge of Zimmer Biomet products to prevent product mixing in inventory and on production routers.
--- Must be able to work with extensive shifting of priorities and or deadlines.
--- Must be capable of using hand tools, hydraulic presses and other cutting equipment and machinery.
--- Must be able to use the JD Edwards computer system extensively for production router development, inventory issues, and receives product structure development, inventory status and counts, and any other problem solving tasks involved with production routers and inventory.
--- Must be able to do frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping and heavy lifting (85 lbs).



Education/Experience Requirements
--- High School or GED.
--- Tow motor license.
