Job Description:
_*Thermco Instrument Corporation - Assembly Technician*__*A
leading manufacturer in the industrial gas mixing and
instrumentation industry seeks an energetic individual for a full
time career opportunity.*__Past experience with electronic and
small parts assembly & test work would be helpful. Will consider
training on the job for those who are inexperienced but could
demonstrate an ability to learn in an efficient and effective
manner. __Competitive pay. Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM,
Occasional O.T. __Safe, Clean, and Air Conditioned work
environment_*Title: * Assembly Technician -
Instrumentation*Summary: * Assemble and test custom sub-assemblies
and products, inspect and test component parts as well as final
assemblies. Work on projects under the guidance of design engineers
and/or senior technicians as may be assigned.*General: *1. Work
cooperatively with co-workers. Be willing and flexible in accepting
new or different responsibilities as may be assigned.2. Follow all
safety standards regarding handling and use of materials, tools and
equipment.3. Observe and follow company policies.4. Maintain a
clean and organized workstations and work areas. Participate in
factory cleanup as assigned.5. Demonstrate accuracy and attention
to details.*Assembly & Test: *1. Electronic/Electrical Assembly.
Read and follow diagrams and instructions for assembly and
testing.2. Experience with handling of electronic components,
soldering, and wiring of circuits would be beneficial.2.
Demonstrate an ability to learn and use simple electronic test and
measurement equipment.3. Demonstrate skill in calculating using
addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.4. Perform
bench assembly operations using common tools i.e wrenches, screw
drivers, soldering iron, etc.5. Inspect components and devices to
judge quality and to troubleshoot quality problems using
established quality criteria and on the job training.6. Able to
demonstrate attention to the details of good workmanship.*Other:
*1. Read and understand information such as sales order
descriptions, instruction manuals, and parts lists to verify order
accuracy.2. Able to demonstrate good vision relating to close
vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral and depth
perception.3. Able work with others in a cooperative and helpful
manner.4. Able to make continuous progress towards higher
workmanship and quality standards.*Education: *High School Diploma
or equivalent required. Additional vocational training,
certifcations and/or an associates degree would be a plus._Thermco
