Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversityAn Industrial Pyrometer/ Meter Lab technician performs a variety of tasks associated with certifying and calibration of devices and process equipment. They install, repair, inspect, calibrate, and maintain measurement devices. The devices include, but not limited to, pyrometers, personal monitors, pressure gages, temperature gages, temperature controllers, flow gages, and Rockwell hardness testers.

Key responsibilities:

• 
  
• Fabricate and certify thermocouples
  
• Perform Temperature Uniformity Surveys (TUS)
  
• Perform analysis of temperature data
  
• Perform certification/calibration tasks according to procedures
  
• Maintain databases in compliance to quality system requirements for certification and calibration of devices.
  
• Perform basic equipment servicing (cleaning, lubrication, coolant, filters, etc.)
  
• Clean facility and production equipment (internal/exterior surfaces, contaminants - residues/oil/dirt/chips, etc.)
  
• Perform all work activity in a safe manner while maintaining compliance to Honeywell's Health Safety and Environment Management System (HSEMS).
  
• Perform work with high quality. - Utilize best practices and the appropriate tools, materials and parts for the task at hand.
  
• Perform work in an efficient manner. - Escalate quickly when issues arise that prevent timely completion of work assignments. - Actively seek new assignments when work is completed faster than expected.
  
  -Must Haves:
  
  • 
    
  • 3 years of experience working in Electronics & Calibration; or a degree/certificate in an electronics/calibration related field of study
    
  • High School graduate or equivalent
    
  • Due to Federal regulations, candidate must be either a US Citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident
    
  • Ability to work at elevation (ladders, lifts, scaffolding)
    
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds

    • Basic computer skills - locate/open files, send/receive emails, process/enter details in service reports
      
    • Ability to read and understand standard operating procedures and use measurement devices

    • -Math skills that demonstrate a basic understanding of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry
