This includes contributing to the development of the strategy, evaluating and executing new growth opportunities and creating communication strategies, organizational announcements, video messages, and key strategic messaging. The role will also oversee the development of executive and strategic presentations for stakeholders such as the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, Executive Team, Annual Business Planning sessions, and Steering Committees and IT Strategy meetings.In addition to internal strategy and communications, this role will help elevate IT's brand externally through case studies, credentials, speaking engagements, industry awards, customer advisory boards, and social media amplification, ensuring alignment with PR efforts. The Senior Manager will drive IT excellence by capturing key milestones, optimizing meeting structures, maintaining a centralized IT calendar, and defining the IT Operating Model and Executive Org Chart, all while promoting operational excellence across IT functions.Serving as a critical liaison, the Senior Manager will effectively communicate IT's strategy, outcomes, and impact both internally and externally. This role requires close collaboration across all IT departments and key stakeholders, including Corporate Communications, Corporate Strategy, the Transformation Office, and Public Relations, to ensure clear and impactful messaging for IT & Product initiatives. The Senior Manager will oversee two direct reports and will work closely with the CTTO, IT Officers, and other leadership teams to ensure alignment and visibility of IT's contributions and strategic direction.YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:

  • Spearhead the IT Annual Business Planning presentation in collaboration with IT Leadership, Corporate Strategy, Transformation Office, and Finance. Partner with the CTTO and IT Officers to develop and maintain the IT 3-Year Strategic Plan.
  • Collaborate with IT executives, corporate strategy, transformation and corporate communications to ensure organizational alignment and visibility to IT's strategic contributions
  • Develop and maintain the IT Communications Plan, ensuring clear, consistent messaging across the organization.
  • Create and execute all IT communications, including IT department updates, celebrating cultural moments, organizational announcements, technology initiatives, vendor communications, and multimedia content such as videos and scripts for the CTTO.
  • Develop executive-level strategic IT presentations for the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, Executive Team, Steering Committees, and
  • Oversee and manage key strategic IT meetings, including the quarterly IT Townhall, monthly IT ORM meetings, IT workstream townhalls, and bi-annual IT Leadership Strategy workshops.
  • Lead external IT communications by developing case studies, credentials, award submissions, conference materials, and LinkedIn content for the CTTO in alignment with PR.
  • Manage and mentor a team of two, ensuring effective delegation and high-quality execution.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Drive operational excellence by organizing key IT meetings, tracking milestones, maintaining the IT Operating Model, and updating the IT Leadership Team org chart.
    • Provide timely updates to leadership, proactively identifying and escalating risks and issues as needed.
    • Collaborate with departments such as Supply Chain, Merchandising, Corporate Strategy, Marketing, and Finance to ensure consistent IT messaging across the organization.
    • Coach IT teams to enhance communication skills and messaging effectiveness.
    • Define and bring forward creative, out-of-the-box thinking to identify white space opportunities - assess and articulate the strategic rationale, grounded in data-driven insights, in support of IT's strategic plan
    • Excel in all areas of strategy development at the Sr Manager level, including problem structuring and solving, business analysis, project management, and verbal and written communicationESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:
      • Bachelor's degree in Strategy, Finance, IT Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) are a plus.
      • Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in IT strategy, change management, or communications, preferably within a retail or consulting environment.
      • At least 3 years of consulting experience at a top-tier management consulting firm strongly preferred
      • Strategic mindset with the capability to think broadly to support and facilitate the development and implementation of winning strategies
      • Ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision while contributing to team goals.
      • Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
      • Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas and information clearly to diverse audiences. Ability to simplify complex information.
      • Proven ability to collaborate across various functions and influence others at different levels within the organization.
      • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle ambiguity and develop effective solutions.
      • Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
      • High emotional intelligence with strong relationship management skills.
      • Demonstrates a high level of integrity and sound judgment.
      • Capable of influencing and driving accountability among team members and stakeholders.
      • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, including developing presentation materials for key stakeholders.
      • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with an understanding of the financial aspects of IT.
      • Demonstrates enthusiasm, persistence, and a strong sense of accountability


        The pay range for this position is $119,300.00 - $185,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company's bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
