Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A state-licensed Occupational Therapist is needed to provide full-time support in school settings during the academic year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work directly with elementary and middle school students across two sites, delivering essential therapy services in general education, resource classrooms, and some self-contained special education settings. Location: Joliet, IL area Two campuses, one site per day with no travel during school hours Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to students ranging from elementary to middle school grades Support students mainly in general education and resource classrooms, with occasional work in self-contained special education classrooms Utilize sensory integration techniques and document student progress and goal attainment Collaborate with educators and school staff to plan and implement therapy goals aligned with student needs Qualifications: Active Illinois state license as an Occupational Therapist Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in schools or similar settings Familiarity with sensory integration and experience in documenting progress in school-aged children Ability to work full-time onsite following the school calendar (approximately 37.5 hours per week) Benefits: W-2 contract role with weekly pay every Friday Medical, dental, and vision coverage available 401(k) matching to support future financial goals Immediate hiring for the current school year, with a preferred February start Interviewing conducted via Zoom for convenience This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in students educational experiences and development.
